About this Site

We are committed to helping hunters pass it on.

My name is Greg Slone, and I have had the privilege of hunting since the age of 8 years old. In today's fast paced world we sometimes forget the real qualities of life and the truly cherish able moments of our childhood. That's the very reason we have decided to start this site. So many family traditions have fallen to the way side for many families and it is time to regain those traditions and start creating memories again.

Hunting is one of the most popular sports today and is one of the most educational sports as well. Having the opportunity to guide, teach and educate a young sole is truly an honor for everyone. As we search for ways to keep up with our children and the fast paced lives they live, there is always one way we all can slow down and smell the roses. Take a child or friend hunting. Hunting is one of the most peaceful ways to spend some quality time with your child. It's a time to bond and get to know each other on a different level than Parent, Child. It's a time to become friends and get to know one another in a more mature way. You'll find out a lot about your child that you didn't have a clue about.

On this site we are looking to gain a community of friends that have a common interest. We are going to educate people on hunting and how to get a child involved in hunting. There will be plenty of opportunities to gain valuable information on any and all hunting situations that you may encounter. Each member of this site will share a common interest, educating children and adults in the wonderful world of hunting. Our members will have many, many ideas of what to do and how to do it. We will have information on all types of hunting in all parts of the country.

I will never forget the excitement on my little girls face and in her voice when she took her first squirrel at 8 years old. That was a priceless moment and was probable one of the happiest days of my life. Ever since that day Raley has been hooked on hunting and my time of hunting alone has been cut way back, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Since then she has taken a pile of rabbits, a turkey, 2 deer and can't wait to get back in the woods.

Next Generation Hunting is a private, members-only, resource for those that are passionate about the outdoors and educating the next generation of hunters. If you are like me and want to keep the tradition of hunting alive, then Next Generation Hunting is the place for you.
